The story in the bottle
Wild-ferment Chardonnay from our only limestone block, high on the Bottelary Hills: ripe citrus and toasted almond, nectarine and peach, with butterscotch oak and a long, mineral finish.
Made from small parcels of our oldest vines. This season we farm 38.1 hectares of certified old vine, the largest holding of any private producer in the country, and it is their depth you taste here.
We are custodians of old vines. They know best how to express their fruit in any vintage, and we merely shepherd their knowledge into the bottle.
